As Market Fresh Produce continues to grow and expand our product lines, our valued employees continue to grow and flourish within our company. We are pleased to announce the promotion of Joel Laughlin.
Joel Laughlin has assumed the position of Director of Procurement. Laughlin has continued to grow with Market Fresh for the last three years since he joined in December of 2014. He joined the company as a Procurement and Logistics Assistant and progressed to a Category Manager and now into his new role. In this new role, Laughlin will be responsible for leading and developing all the procurement staff, overseeing all pricing functions, overseeing all aspects of cost of goods, and building and maintaining relations with our growers and packers.
Laughlin stated, "I'm very excited and blessed to be able to take the next step with Market Fresh. I've come a long way since I started with Market Fresh three years ago. This will be a new and exciting challenge for me and I look forward to continuing to grow and learn. None of this would have been possible without the organization that hard work and dedication are rewarded in kind. It's the people I work with that make Market Fresh an awesome place to work".
